When we first met our new client he had just finished dental school and was in the process of opening his own practice. He had leased a small office space and was in the process of outfitting it with dental equipment.

He had no patients, no staff, and no marketing plan. In short, he had a dream but no idea how to make it a reality.

He wanted to build a successful dental practice that would be profitable, provide quality dental care for patients, and offer a great working environment for staff.

He knew he needed to attract new patients but didn’t know how to go about it. That’s where we came in.

How We Took an Idea and Built a Dental Practice Brand From Scratch.

Our challenge was to take our client’s business dream and turn it into a reality by creating a credible dental brand that would attract new patients. It required the following services:

The Challenge

We were approached by a dentist looking to open his first practice. We were tasked with creating a unique visual identity for the dentist office that would set it apart from others in the area. We took this dream and turned it into a reality by creating a complete brand for the business including coming up with the name, logo, identity system, website design, office signage and more.

Building a brand from scratch is not easy. We had to come up with a name that would be memorable, unique, and convey the level of care our client wanted to provide. We also needed to create a visual identity that would communicate trust and credibility.

We presented the client three naming options. He chose the name “Solis Dental” because Solis literally means sun. Solis conveyed the light he wanted his practice to be in the world and the name was unique enough to stand out from other dental practices in the area.

For the visual identity, we created a logo that featured a blue and white color scheme. The blue represented trustworthiness and professionalism while the white conveyed purity and cleanliness.

 

The Approach

When you’re building a brand, it’s important to understand the desires and mindset of your target audience. What are they feeling and thinking at the time they interact with you or your brand materials? What is their emotional state and how will your messages impact them? Our goal was to build a user experience from beginning to end that respected the patient and treated them with dignity no matter where they were in the process of finding help for themselves or a family member.

We also knew that we had to build a website that would be fast, modern, and responsive.

The last thing we wanted was for potential patients to click away from our site because it took too long to load or wasn’t mobile friendly.

The website needed to be easy to use and navigate so that potential patients could find the information they were looking for without any hassle.

We also knew that the website needed to be designed with SEO in mind so that it would rank well in search engines and attract organic traffic.

The Results

Through a series of interviews with stakeholders, we discovered that patients are looking for a vibrant dental office, full of the latest technology and committed to the local community. With this discovery, we were able to establish the dental practice’s core beliefs. We also created artwork for the practice that embodied the core values. This way, both staff and patients could feel invested in the mission.

The Outcome

After just 90 days, the dental practice had a fully functioning website, new logo and branding, and a marketing campaign. The practice had also built trust with its patients and was able to establish itself as a credible source of information in the community. The website attracted organic traffic and served as an initial point of contact for potential patients. As a result, the practice was able to grow its patient base and achieve its goals.
